I’m guessing most of you know me, but for those who don’t here’s the quick overview.

I’m just a fast-paced, loving life 23 year old girl.  I’ve lived in the Rochester, NY area my entire life and recently completed my MBA in Marketing and Communication.  I’m looking to start a career – anything to do with marketing, public relations, events, or social media.  I love the interactive, creative, social aspect of marketing and my ideal career will incorporate all of this.

Until that dream job comes along, I’m keeping my self afloat by working at Express Fashions (Yes I love Express and yes, my wardrobe and sense of style has improved since working there – gotta love the discount!!!).  I’m also the Bud Light girl around Rochester.  It’s a job that I love and hate all in one.  It’s fun, fast paced, exciting, and it comes with lots of perks – but it’s also demanding, drama centric, and stressful.  It requires a lot of night work, late hours, and patience when dealing with drunken men at the bar.  If anything, I’ve learned a lot of useful life skills from this job and I’d never trade the experience of anything.  Also, my vast knowledge of beer is always a great conversation starter.

So, that’s my background but the real me is fitness and health fanatic.  I’m a pescatarian and love experimenting with new cuisines whether it be out a a restaurant or in my own kitchen.  My mom was a great cook and I strive to be just like her.  She cooks satisfying homestyle meals – I like to turn these meals into HEALTHY homestyle meals that will still satisfy my cravings.  So you’ll find me often talking about recipes, healthy lifestyle links, restaurant reviews, and vegetarian related news.

When it comes to fitness, I love the gym, biking, and hot yoga.  It depends on the point in my life which one I’m into more.  Yoga calms and relaxes me, the gym is my stress relief, and biking lets me explore, zone out, and get my mind straighted about.  You’ll find random workouts, quick gym tips, and other fitness info I think should be shared on my blog.

Lastly, I love wine, martinis, magazines, social networking sites,  traveling, music, adventures, and movies.  These will probably be some of my hot topics.  Whenever I find a great wine or stumble upon a new amazing movie or random fact you can bet your butt I’ll be speaking my mind about it.  And I wouldn’t mind hearing your’s either.

    Hi there!

My name is Sue, and found your blog today thru Run Foodie, Run Boston – it captured my interest! I’m from SlimKicker (a healthy living/fitness app), and was wondering if we can do a giveaway for your blog readers?

Our site basically turns people’s health/fitness goals into a level up game with challenges such as quitting soda for a week. We’re looking for new challenge ideas, so was thinking of holding a contest where your readers leave a comment on a health challenge idea, and we’ll pick our favorite challenge idea, use it on our site, and give the winner either a free digital health scale, slow cooker, or digital heart monitor.

Let me know if you’re interested by email: sue (at) slimkicker.com

PS. You can choose not to publish this comment since it’s not really a comment, I just couldn’t find your email address =)
